This weekend marks the one year anniversary of the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump. The President recorded an interview with his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, that will air on the Fox News Channel Saturday night….in which he reflects on what happened by saying the Secret Service “had a bad day”….we have excerpts from the interview.

Things are getting messy…personally for TX AG Ken Paxton….as his wife…Texas state Sen. Angela Paxton announced Thursday she is filing for divorce from her husband, citing “biblical grounds” and a desire to protect her family in light of "recent discoveries."

Border security was a big winner when Congress passed the “big beautiful bill,” which authorized about $150 billion in new spending with some of that aimed to hire more agents…..but can they. In Politico Nightly they suggest because of retirements we will still have fewer agents than before.
