Joe Biden bombs at debate and party insiders suggest he is done! SC Legislators pass a budget (Ep 178)

DEBATE, DEBATE, DEBATE....what else do you want to talk about today? We have the highlights for you....did we witness the end of Joe Biden last night?

Legislators were back in Columbia on Wednesday.....state leaders were able to accomplish two major things:

They agreed on changes to how South Carolina picks judges which will allow for more candidates to be considered for a judgeship and give the governor influence over the process.

ALSO... Legislators passed a $14.5 billion state spending package that cuts income taxes, increases state employees’ salaries and freezes tuition at public colleges in South Carolina for the sixth consecutive year.

 McDonald’s plant-based burger flopped in two American test markets, according to McDonald’s USA President Joe Erlinger....guess which two cities they tested the new burger in??

Biden and Trump face on in debate tonight!!! Supreme "leaks" another decision on abortion (Ep 177)

Tonight’s the night!!  It’s like the super bowl of politics as we will all be gathered around to watch Donald Trump take on Joe Biden in a 90 minute debate moderated by CNN hosts Jake Tapper and Dana Bash. President Trump has SAYS that President Biden will be “pumped up” on drugs to enhance his performance at Thursday’s debate, including getting a “big fat shot in the ass.”

Biden campaign waives the white flag of surrender for Florida (already); Primary Election results are in (Ep 176)

Sheri Biggs, a nurse practitioner and Air National Guard officer, won the Republican nomination for the U.S. House in South Carolina’s 3rd District on Tuesday.

In other races across the country:

Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., emerged victorious in her congressional re-election primary campaign

Two-term Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman of New York has the dubious honor of becoming the first House member of either party to be defeated by a primary challenger so far in the 2024 election cycle. 

AND... Squad member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez won her Democratic primary challenge against former investment banker Marty Dolan on Tuesday evening. 

We also have results from state legislative races in SC as well as some local races too.

 

Joe Biden’s campaign appears to already be waiving the white flag of defeat in Florida as his campaign staff admitted that Florida was not on their map for potential wins.

AND...a poll worker in Arizona is arrested on suspicion of stealing a fob from an election machine that could force Maricopa County to replace some voting equipment before November.

Trump will have VP with him at the debate; SC 3rd Congressional Dist. Biggs v Burns (Ep 174)

Biden creates task force to defend against "cheap fakes" and Louisiana requires Ten Commandments (Ep 172)

The Biden campaign reportedly created a special task force to reduce the impact of videos that show the president “malfunctioning” in public.

Meanwhile....MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough is blasting conservative media for circulating “cheap fake” videos of the President.

 An Israeli peace activist who was kidnapped and held hostage for 53 days in Gaza said the horrifying experience shattered her longstanding belief that there could be peace between Palestinians and Israelis.

The Congressional Budget Office now expects deficits to be $1.9 trillion in fiscal year 2024....up $400 billion from the previous estimate.

Louisiana is the first state to require the display of the Ten Commandments in every public school classroom after Republican Gov. Jeff Landry signed a bill into law Wednesday.

Biden promises citizenship to hundreds of thousands in sweeping executive order; Early voting starts today in SC (Ep 171)

In an effort to promise citizenship to hundreds of thousands of illegals before this year’s election, The White House announced Tuesday the Biden administration will, in the coming months, allow certain spouses of U.S. citizens without legal status to apply for permanent residency and eventually, citizenship. The move could affect upwards of half a million immigrants, according to senior administration officials.

He finally admitted it! Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top adviser to two presidential administrations during the COVID-19 pandemic, reversed course in a Tuesday interview and agreed that shutting down schools for more than a year due to the virus was a “mistake” — while also arguing the initial decision to close classrooms was correct.

 There was a medical emergency at yesterday’s White House press briefing. Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stopped a reporter in the middle of his question and rushed down from the podium to assist after a person declared, "We have an emergency!" It appears someone had passed out possible from the extreme heat being experience in the nations capital like other parts of the country.

 South Carolina’s primary elections are not over yet, with 13 Statehouse and congressional run-offs scheduled for June 25....early voting begins today at 8:30a. One of the races getting most of the attention is the 3^rd Congressional District runoff between political newcomer Sheri Biggs and Pastor Mark Burns.
