The Colorado state Senate is set to take up debate on what could be the toughest gun restrictions in the nation as the democrat controlled house passed the bill last week. One of the GOP members of the House was reprimanded because he had a 2nd Amendment stickers on his laptop while speaking from the WELL…in the House Chambers.
US Education Secretary Linda McMahon on Sunday insisted there won’t be cuts to programs involving special education and student loans even if they end up administered by other departments. Secretary McMahon laid out her plan to dismantle the Department of Education.

It appears the University of Maine has decided to obey the new Trump directives about not allowing men in women’s sports after the threat of losing federal funds.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth unveiled another round of cuts to programs Thursday worth $580 million that he claimed were either “wasteful” or didn’t align with the administration’s agenda.
The South Carolina House of Representatives has passed legislation, that if approved by the Senate, will force the Greenville Sanitation District to stop providing services outside of it’s state designated service area….or face being dissolved by the legislature. Some members of Greenville County Council are pushing back on the action.
