Secretary of Agriculture, Brook Rollins, announced yesterday that it is taking steps to ensure that illegal immigrants in the United States are not eligible for food stamp benefits.
A report from Capital Hill says some House Republicans are getting increasingly frustrated with Elon Musk’s handling of his role in the federal government. I have the latest from a closed-door congressional meeting yesterday.
Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt says more than one million federal workers responded to Musk’s directive to respond to an email explaining what they accomplished last week. Musk is doubling down.

Elon Musk sent out a directive on Saturday requiring all federal employees to send an email today summarizing their accomplishments last week. According to the email they have until midnight tonight to respond or face losing their federal job.

Curtis Smith, Chairman of the Spartanburg County Republican Party, joins us to talk about the upcoming GOP re-organizational precinct meetings in Spartanburg County.
President Donald Trump is close to finalizing his cabinet choices and senior leadership positions for his second administration. Brooke Rollins was recently sworn in to be the 33rd Secretary of Agriculture and we visit with her to discuss the first priorities of the Department of Ag.
South Carolina has seen a number of local bars and restaurants close due to increasing liability insurance rates caused by excessive legal costs. Tort reform is one of the top issues the SC General Assembly is considering this session. We visit with Lt Governor Pamella Evette to discuss what the Governor’s office would like to see happen and also joining is Matt Wills, VP of Government Affairs, for the Greenville Chamber to offer his insights form a business perspective. Finally, Chris Smith, with the SC Bar and Tavern Association, is with us to talk about the work his organization is doing to insure the legislature passes tort reforms that will lead to lower insurance costs and a healthier business environment.

The much-anticipated interview of President Donald Trump and Elon Musk with Sean Hannity aired last night and it was quite interesting to see these two (powerful and rich men) who obviously have become good friends interact and talk about just wanting to do something good for the country. We have the highlights for you.
Remember those pardons that Joe Biden handed out as he was exiting the White House? One of those was responsible for the brutal murder of two FBI agents in South Dakota. Because of Joe Biden…this killer is being welcomed home at a party hosted at a casino near the location where the murders were committed in 1975.
Precinct RE-ORG is just around the corner. SC State Law requires the Republican Party to have it’s precinct reorganization meetings in March so each county is working hard now to make those plans. Joining us today is Curtis Smith, Chairman of the Spartanburg GOP, to give us the details.
Congressmen William Timmons is on the House DOSE Subcommittee and they had their first hearing last week in an effort to help President Trump weed out waste, fraud and decrease the size of the federal government. Congressman Timmons visits with us today to give us an update.
