Breaking news….it is now official… A cease-fire and hostage deal has been signed by Israel, Hamas, U.S. and Qatari officials. Currently, the Israeli government is set to vote on the measure on Saturday, which would delay the release of the first three hostages until Monday.
Meanwhile…. President-elect Trump reminded all the parties involved that a cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas had better be finalized before he is sworn into office on Monday.
President-elect Donald Trump’s Treasury Secretary nominee, Scott Bessent, faced off with Senator Bernie Sanders during his confirmation hearing and it was clearly a clash of two very different visions for America.
ALSO yesterday….. Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi again made democrat Senators who continued with their attempt at gotcha moments…look silly. We have some of the highlights for you.
In what will probably be his last major decision as President Joe Biden yesterday decided that NO decision was the best decision and will not enforce the ban on TikTok leaving the decision to the Trump administration as one of their first actions on Monday.

Delivering his final address to the nation, Joe Biden, speaking from the Oval Office ….took the sole credit for the Israel-Hamas deal while warning the country of the 'oligarchy' he believes is threatening our democracy.
Why is Hamas suddenly agreeing to a cease fire? According to IDF Reserve Brigadier General Amir Avivi, this deal has been on the table since May of last year. But Hamas rejected it outright back then because there wasn’t enough pressure on Hamas to accept the terms and the Biden administration had blocked some of the more stronger terms Israel wanted.

Southern California is still being consumed with the wildfires as the number of people affected grows along with the death toll. Fire officials yesterday said in an afternoon news conference they will be using cadaver dogs to find additional victims of the wildfires.
ALSO… California Gov. Gavin Newsom has activated an additional 1,000 National Guard soldiers to assist in the response to the wildfires in Los Angeles County.
Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen is publicly urging President Joe Biden to grant him a presidential pardon, citing concerns about potential prosecution under President-elect Donald Trump. Cohen, who served three years in prison for various federal crimes, claims Biden has a moral obligation to protect critics of Trump, just as he pardoned his son Hunter Biden earlier this year.

The California wildfires continue to wreak havoc with the death toll in Los Angeles County rising to at least seven people and more than 27,000 acres have burned while destroying over 10,000 structures, according to local officials.
The Supreme Court denied President-elect Donald Trump’s emergency petition to block his sentencing in the New York v. Trump case later this morning…..the case brought by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg accuses Trump of falsifying business records.
In other court news… a federal judge in Kentucky has struck down the Biden administration’s attempt to rewrite Title IX, a law originally designed to protect equal opportunities for men and women…yet Joe Biden tried to redefine “sex” to include all “gender identities.” This is a major win for women’s sports.

Eight wildfires are burning in Los Angeles County, including the Pacific Palisades and Sylmar neighborhoods of Los Angeles and another near the City of Pasadena. Hundreds of thousands of residents are under evacuation orders as the LA area wildfires threaten at least 28,000 structures.
More than 3 million were without power in Los Angeles County by Wednesday afternoon, according to Southern California Edison (SCE). The fires are being pushed by Santa Ana winds from the east, and officials warn the worst is yet to come. We have the latest updates for you in today’s show.
