President Biden’s announcement of a new asylum bar for migrants coming across the southern border when encounters hit a certain level was met with immediate criticism from both Democrats and Republicans — with Republicans calling it a "stunt" and some Democrats accusing him of betraying migrants.

 Melissa Cohen Biden – the wife of Hunter Biden – lashed out at a former Trump White House aide during a Tuesday appearance in court to support her husband, who has been charged with three felonies stemming from a 2018 firearm purchase.

The House on Tuesday approved legislation aimed at penalizing the International Criminal Court (ICC) as it weighs whether to bring war crimes charges against Israeli leaders for their conduct in the war with Hamas.

 Those who were praising CA Governor Gavin Newsom’s plan to raise minimum wage for restaurant workers....are now seeing the affects a law like this can have. Rubio’s Coastal Grill, a California Mexican restaurant chain, announced the closure of 48 restaurants in the Golden State amid rising business costs due to the increase wage expense.

The Los Angeles Times reported that the chain decided to shutter nearly one-third of its restaurants following a "review of its operations and the current business climate."

Republican National Committee (RNC) co-chair Lara Trump would not say how much fundraising will go to former President Trump’s legal fees.

Former President Trump on Sunday claimed he is the “opposite” of a threat to democracy, pushing back against a longtime argument from President Biden in the wake of his hush money conviction.

Democrat Rep Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said President Biden should campaign off of former President Trump’s guilty verdict in the New York hush money case. Schiff also delivered the message to Trump, via CNN’s State of the Union that “if you didn’t want to be tried in New York, don’t commit crimes in New York!!

While…former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) said he thinks the guilty verdict delivered to former President Trump this week only makes him stronger and the conviction may end up backfiring on the left.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) declined to give the Biden administration credit for acting on the U.S. southern border ahead of his expected executive order to clamp down on illegal immigration……saying it’s “too little too late”

ALSO… a report release by Syracuse University shows the Biden admin has quietly dismissed over 350K asylum applications from immigrants since 2022 allowing these illegals to roam freely around the country without threat of deportation.

Former President Trump vowed to continue fighting for the Constitution after he was found guilty on all 34 counts in the unprecedented NY v. Trump case, adding the "real verdict" will be read on Election Day. 

 The Biden-Harris campaign issued a statement saying: “A second Trump term means chaos, ripping away Americans’ freedoms and fomenting political violence—and the American people will reject it this November.”

 As expected, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg took a victory lap after the jury announced their verdict......saying his office "did our job."

New York prosecutors presented the jury with their closing argument in the case against former President Trump Tuesday, saying the case is "about a conspiracy and a cover-up," and maintained that they have presented "powerful evidence" to convict. 

Is Joe Biden finally seeing the writing on the wall?
