Trump Appeals Maine Decision; White House says Bidenomics Needs ”more time” and Harvard President Resigns (Ep51)

Former President Donald Trump, on Tuesday, appealed the decision to remove him from Maine's Republican primary ballot for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Meanwhile, "The View" co-host Sara Haines argued Democrats' efforts to remove Trump from state ballots for 2024 would backfire by creating a "vision of a rigged election."

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Americans needed to give President Biden's economic policies more "time" to take effect as voters remain sour on the president and said voters were straying from the president and the Democratic Party because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As we celebrate the beginning of a new year…we also pause and do a quick review of this past year…..as 2023 saw inflation having an impact on American’s lives caused by Joe Biden’s excessive spending programs while illegal immigrants continued to flood our border with millions now roaming our country doing whatever they want to do knowing, that realistically, they will probably never be forced to return to their home countries.

 

This month kicks off the Presidential nominating process with Iowa holding their caucuses in a couple of weeks followed by New Hampshire's first in the nation primary. Some state's are trying to kick President Donald Trump off the ballot with the latest being Maine. The Heritage Foundation says they will sue the Maine Secretary Of State Behind Trump Ballot Removal. Meanwhile, Maine’s Democratic Secretary of State Shenna Bellows was reportedly the latest victim of swatting Friday evening, calling out the “unacceptable” behavior, according to a Facebook post.

Some good news in 2023….as we saw some major wins for religious liberties….both legislatively and some legal victories, as well.

Maine’s top election official ejected former President Donald Trump from the state’s ballot on Thursday, declaring him ineligible to serve as president because of his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on Congress.

Former SC Governor Nikki Haley responded Thursday to her Wednesday evening comments at a New Hampshire town hall where she failed to mention slavery as the reason for the Civil War….with some saying this could be a pivotal moment in the Haley campaign.

The Biden Administration seems to have a new name for illegals flooding across our southern border…..as we continue to watch a caravan of illegals making their way to our border….with estimates numbering thousands of people from Central and South America. Secretary of State Antony Blinken introduces a new description of the illegals…you’re going to want to wait around for this one!!!

Harvard University president Claudine Gay, who has come under fire over accusations of plagiarism and antisemitism, is now seeing her work further scrutinized after it was revealed two professors questioned a data method she used in a 2001 Stanford paper that often resulted in “logical inconsistencies” — and she refused to share her research with them.
